The Oracle is an AI lyric writing assistant, made to be used as a tool and a resource only: suggestions for rhymes and for lines, a sort of cowriter sitting beside you while you write. It is still in development, and it will be available in the highest paid “everything” tier only, not in any of the others.

The Oracle is a tool. We do not believe in using AI to replace songwriters. This was built by songwriters as a supplementary tool and resource for songwriters, to get better suggestions, and we intend to keep it that way.

You never have to use it. If you do not choose to pay for the top tier and opt in, your writing and your account have nothing to do with the Oracle at all. To use it you opt in every single time, for each project you want it to see, or you opt in once and give it access to everything you write from then on. Nothing you write and nothing of yours reaches it until you do.

It is built on top of the same rhyme engine the rest of the app runs on, so it can read the lyrics you have open and the ones you have already written, pick up how you write and which rhymes you reach for, and suggest lines that sound like you. It understands rhyme, how many syllables a line runs to and where the stress sits in it, which is what makes a suggestion worth having when you are stuck. The more you use it the better its suggestions get, and bringing your catalogue over speeds that up.

If you would rather have nothing to do with it, write on the free tier or the sngwrtr tier. Your work will never be used to train it and will never be connected to it in any way.
