Terms of Service

Agreement

sngwrtr (“the service”) is operated by SNGWRTR Software Inc., a corporation based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (“we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service. sngwrtr is currently in beta, which means things change often and occasionally break.

Your content is yours

You keep all rights to the lyrics, songs, recordings, and other work you create with sngwrtr. We claim no ownership of your creative work. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the service for you: to store your content, sync it to your devices, and display it back to you and to anyone you choose to share a song with.

Your account

• You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account.
• You must be old enough to form a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
• One person per account, unless we agree otherwise.

Plans & billing

• sngwrtr offers a free tier and optional paid plans. Prices and what each plan includes are shown on our pricing page.
• Payments are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, who bills you and handles your card details. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
• Recurring plans renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future renewals and your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, but if something goes wrong email us and we’ll try to make it right.
• We may change plan prices or features going forward; changes won’t affect a period you’ve already paid for.

Acceptable use

Don’t use sngwrtr to break the law, infringe someone else’s rights, upload content you don’t have the rights to, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service, or abuse other users on shared songs. We may suspend accounts that do.

Google Drive imports

If you import from Google Drive, you confirm you have the right to use those files. sngwrtr only accesses the specific files you pick, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability & changes

The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. As a beta, it may have downtime, bugs, or data issues, and features may change or be removed. We do our best to protect your work, but you’re encouraged to keep your own copies of anything important. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Ending your use

You can stop using sngwrtr and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated. We may update these terms as the product grows; continued use after a change means you accept the update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled by the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
